Filming for Amazon's dysfunctional romantic comedy 'The People We Hate At The Wedding' began in London in September 2021 with with a a gruelling schedule of 38 locations shot over 35 days.  Locations included The Langham Hotel, Stansted Airport, Canary Wharf, and Wickham House.  The film stars Allison Janney, Ben Platt, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and Kristen Bell.

My Policeman

Filming took place in early 2021 for Michael Grandage’s, My Policeman.  The story is set in Brighton between two time periods: The 1950’s, when homosexuality was illegal and in 1997.  Harry Styles, Emma Corrin, Gina McKee, Linus Roache, David Dawson, and Rupert Everett star in this tale of forbidden love and regret.

Directed by John Madden, Operation Mincemeat is the true story of the plan to deceive the Nazis in the run up to the The Allied invasion of Sicily.  The film stars Colin Firth, Kelly Macdonald, Matthew Macfadyen, Penelope Wilton, Johnny Flynn and Jason Isaacs.  We were involved in filming additional scenes at Middle Temple during the height of the Pandemic in 2020.

Vanguard

Stanley Tong came to London to shoot scene's for Jackie Chan's global action film Vanguard. The script portrayed the attempted kidnapping of a dignitary's daughter during the Chinese new year celebrations in Trafalgar Square. We worked with the local authorities over many months of meticulous planning to enable the production to shoot scenes within the real festival event in February 2019.

The Last Vermeer

It was a pleasure to work with the incredible Dan Friedkin on his directorial debut, The Last Vermeer.  Filming took place during 2018 at Loseley Park and Heathfield Park in the UK.  We then turned the clock back to 1945 in Dordrecht, Leiden and Amsterdam in The Netherlands.

Bandersnatch

We turned the clock back to 1984 for Netflix's ground-breaking interactive film, Black Mirror Bandersnatch.  St. George's shopping centre, One Croydon, Trelick Tower, The Bluebell Railway and a wonderful 1950's house outside of Watford were just a few of the locations we found for this award winning piece, directed byt the very talented David Slade.

Wonder Woman

Most of 2015/16 was spent working on Wonder Woman. We used many well known UK locations (Hatfield House, Luton Hoo, Victoria House) and found some new locations in Italy (Matera, Villa Cimbrone, Marina Di Camerota and Vignanotica to name a few). Highlights included bringing a real 1914 steam train into Kings Cross Station and closing down Trafalgar Square and the surrounding roads to recreate the armistice celebrations of 1918

Fast & Furious 7

We found ourselves back in the UAE from February to May 2014 for Fast & Furious 7.  The Production took over large areas of the world's most exclusive hotel, The Emirates Palace as well as Etihad Towers.   It was a pleasure to see Natalie Emmanuel with whom we had worked with on Game of Thrones in 2012 and 2013.

Time Traveller

Written and directed by the fantastic Roland Joffé, Time Traveller stars Josh Hartnett and Indian actress Bipasha Basu. The film is the tale of an impossible romance, set across two time periods and continents.  Filming took place in central London,  Farnborough Airport, and Portland Harbour.

Switch

We were lucky enough to spend the winter of 2012 working in The United Arab Emirates for the Chinese action movie, Switch.   Locations included The Atlantis, The Palm, The Burj Al Arab hotel, The Burj Khalifa, The Palm Jumeirah and the first class cabin of the A380 at Dubai International airport.

Les Miserables

From the streets of Winchester to the mountains of the Lake District, the scouting for Les Miserables took us all over the UK.  One of the more challenging brief's was to find a French church next to a bishop’s house on top of a French mountain, which we eventually filmed in the village of Ewelme (with some clever VFX) One of the main challenges for the production was recording the singing live on location.

Skyfall

We spent a number of weeks in the highlands of Scotland, scouting for James Bond's parental home.  It was eventually decided to build a set on Hankely common but during the course of our scout, we discovered the epic road to Glen Etive which appears in the film

The Dark Knight Rises

The Highlands of Scotland provided the dramatic mountain location for the opening sequence of The Dark Knight Rises. The stunt sequence involved 2 months of rehearsals with a specialist skydiving team and a C130 Hercules flown over from the USA. A Super Puma heavy lift helicopter was also brought over from Switzerland.  Filming took place in the skies over Aviemore and Glen Wyvis where we dropped 8 real aircraft fuselages from 8000ft.   That was some clean-up operation!

Sherlock Holmes:
A Game of Shadows

The summer of 2010 was spent scouting for mountains, chalets, waterfalls, palaces and castles in the Alps of Switzerland, Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Norway and Finland for Guy Ritchie's sequel adventure, Sherlock Homes: A Game of Shadows. We came back to film the chosen locations in the winter and spring of 2011. Highlights included filming at the castle from Where Eagles Dare in Austria, and hauling a camera crane up to the base of the Eiger Mountain in Switzerland

Bonded By Blood

One of the most fun jobs we have done, Bonded By Blood tells the gruesome story of the Rettendon murders in 1995.  We worked with the most amazing crew, many of whom became life long friends, and none less than its director, the wonderfully talented Sacha Bennet.  Filming took place during early winter 2010 when much of the UK was covered in a blanket of thick snow.
